Germs in blood: Once a germ gets into the blood, symptoms depend primarily on the type of germ. Viruses have blood phases & typically produce fever spikes & muscle aches, sensitivity to light etc. Bacteria will do this & add blood pressure instability, prolonged fever or low body temperature, fatigue & prostration. Fungal germs or yeast trigger responses like bacteria.Viruses & bacteria can trigger a rash.
