Joint, eye&pee pain: Classical symptoms are painful swollen joints (arthritis), redness & singing of eyes (conjunctivitis or uveitis, & burning on urination (urethritis). Urinary symptoms usually occur first. Symptoms most commonly develop either following a chlamydia or a ureaplasma std, occasionally after gonorrhea on one hand, others following a severe intestinal infection with salmonella or shigella with diarrhea.
