When will my baby be able to transfer objects between hands?

4 Months Old: Most infants will transfer objects from hand to hand around 4 months old, however there is some normal variation in development. If you have any concerns with your child's development, you should notify your pediatrician.

7-9 months: Most babies at this age develop improved hand eye co-ordination and start transferring objects from one hand to another or directly to their mouths. I think the earliest they could do it is about six months.
