Absolutely!: Ideally, breast milk is the preferred nutrition for babies. Studies have found that babies who were exclusively breastfed for at least four months had half as many ear infections as formula fed babies. However, mothers who work outside of the home or do not produce enough milk need an alternative, and formula is ok to use. Your baby will still get the health benefits of the breast milk.
