A member asked:

How does yersinia hurt you?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Causes diarrhea...: As well as abdominal pain and fever. Most of the time the illness gets better on it's own and no antibiotics are treatment. In people with co-morbidities (diabetes, poor immune system) and those with bacteria in the blood stream, then the disease can be bad. Most of the time, it's not.
