A member asked:

I've had a wrist operation. any side-effects from this operation?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends.: It depends on your condition that you get operated for, how extensive it was/is, and what operation you got. For example, carpal tunnel syndrome can be very debilitating where people cannot move their fingers well without a lot of pain. The surgery for it can have consequences like nerve damage. Broken wrist bones can also need surgery, with possible necrosis from loss of blood supply.
