Can anyone tell me what a wet mount is?

Wet mount: A wet mount is to mix vaginal discharge with saline and KOH to detect bacteria, yeast and trichomonads by odor, acidity, and microscopic inspection.

Wet mount: Wet mount is a microscopic inspection of the sample, usually emerged in saline and potassium hydroxide. The latter also checks for odor emitted from bacteria. Vaginal acidity can be measured. It is done to diagnose the cause of vaginal infections.
