BOTH=Post. Pituitary: Both oxytocin and vasopressin (adh) are produced in the posterior pituitary the structure of oxytocin is very similar to that of vasopressin also a nonapeptide with a sulfur bridge, whose sequence differs from oxytocin by 2 amino acids.
