Hydration status: To some extent, color of your urine mimics your hydration state. If you're dehydrated, your urine is more likely to be deeply darkly yellow. If you're fully hydrated, your urine is more likely to be clear. Of course, all bets are off if you have uncontrolled diabetes mellitus or insipidus.
