Went to urologist for balanitis, it was red but he said it is "inactive balanitis" although it was obviously red, what does this mean ?

Balanitis: It is possible that the active condition responsible for the inflammation had resolved but the redness was a result of that inflammation and had not yet receded. If the doctor was not clear, call and chat with them. They can clarify what they meant.
