Abscess: Internal pressure from the abscess on specific nerves are causing this numbness. Your brother needs to go see a dentist ASAP for treatment. Failure to treat quickly can result in further problems. Please call at once.

See a dentist ASAP: A tooth abscess won't go away without treatment and the infection may spread to your jaw, cheeks, sinus and to other areas of your head and neck. Dentist will treat a tooth abscess by treating the cause and getting rid of the infection. See your dentist ASAP.

Dentist ASAP: See your dentist immediately. Rule out any dental issues such as deacay or periodontal disease. If the pain is deemed to be of a nondental origin, you may need to see a neurologist.

Seek dental care asp: It would be important to seek an evaluation by a dentist asap. This could be a serious dental infection developing. You'd need antibiotic therapy and dental treatment. If that is ruled out a neurologist may be needed. I'd say another possibility is lymes disease depending what part of the country you're in
