Not sure: These symptoms should be evaluated by your doctor. She/He may do vaginal cultures in addition to a pelvic exam

Vaginal pain: What you are experiencing is an inflammation of the vagina , most likely due to an infection. If you are sexually active then this could be a sexually transmitted disease, and you need to contact your doctor for an examination and treatment.

Could be: It could be herpes but what ever it is you need to be seen by a gynecologist, diagnosed and treated. Pain is your body's way of getting your attention and telling you there is something wrong. Hope this helps and you feel better fast.
