No dietary restricti: In reality there are no absolute dietary restrictions. You can enjoy any food you like. The restriction of spices, alcohol and any thing else is purely arbitrary and personal bias of the doctor.

Eat well ...: There is no evidence that one food causes, or prevents prostate disease, however diets high in fat and low in vegetables are probably unhealthy for the prostate (as they are for the rest of your body). A variety of food, majoring on fresh vegetables, and a range of protein sources, fish, chicken, pulses etc. Enjoy modest amounts of red meat and dairy. Plus exercise, drink water, limit alcohol ...
