Cyst: The lump is most likely a cyst or ingrown hair and shouldn't cause any abdominal discomfort. If abdominal discomfort persists and there is a definite change in bowel movement, get examined by your physician who will decide which tests may be needed and what treatment is in order.

Constipation: First the lump may be a hair follicle infection. Constipation may be a different problem, abdominal pain could be from the constipation itself. Increase fiber and fluid to improve the bowel movements.
