Pain in right upper chest on and off, pain radiating to right shoulder. i do have a 5.2 cm bullae in that area. what are the causes?

RU shoulder pain: Possibly from bullae. Also bullae can burst and cause a pneumonthorax. other causes can be gallbladder , cardiac ( more likely left sided but unusual presenations occur),. Follow up with doctor urgent care, may need imaging, CT /ultrasound possible stress test

Many reason: a bullae could be congenital that mean you were born with it or it could formed as a part of emphysema from smoking or chronic lung disease you are taking a chance of having the bullae rupture and give you pneumothorax which is collapsing the lung from air escaping from the bullae to surround the lung and squeezing it could be life threatening if a help did not arrived in proper time see a doctor
