I started taking birth control pill gildess. i am on my 2nd week and having hit flashes. is that normal ?

Unusual: Technically, menopause starting as early as age 40 would be considered normal - and hot flashes are part of menopause for many women. Sex hormones like those in birth control pills are of a strength that they should effectively counteract hot flashes. If they don't the hot flashes are likely to come from a different source.
