The pill is "spot"on: Unfortunately, low dose contraceptive pills can cause spotting when initiated which can last for up to 3 treatment cycle months. It will not affect its' ability to block pregnancy as long as you continue to take it consistently every day but the spotting is a "nuisance" worthy of light days pads.
