Likely normal : Patients frequently complain of itching of incision sites during the healing process. This is normal as long as you don't have redness or drainage from the wound. It should go away over time. You're right not to scratch it as during the early healing process scratching and abrasion to the wound could lead to infection by introducing bacteria into a fresh wound
