I just attempted to pop a cyst in my armpit, and i felt/heard it pop backwards. am i in any immediate danger? is there a risk of sepsis?

No sepsis risk: If you already know of congenital heart disease or Osler-Weber-Rendu or a few others with a right-to-left shunt, this can be dangerous as a cause of brain abscess. Otherwise, relax. Your lung will dispose of the pus from the pimple.
