Yes: You should not have a lot of pain after a thyroid biopsy. Usually tylenol, (acetaminophen) non-steroidal antiinflammatory meds (ibuprofen, aleeve) is enough to take care of the pain.

Please see: the doctor that did the biopsy. You should not be having pain. Make sure you don't have a hematoma. If you can take Tylenol (acetaminophen) until you see your doctor.
