See your doctor: If it's at the top of the buttocks (the transition between your low back and the crease of your buttocks) it's probably a pilonidal cyst or abscess. It will most likely need to be drained by a healthcare professional. Sometimes they drain spontaneously. There is a good chance of recurrence, and sometimes the cyst wall will need to be surgically removed.

Foil That Boil!!!: Sounds like a job for BoilMan!! In the middle Ages he was a barber. Now it takes 4 years of Medical school and four years of a surgical residency to be licensed to lance that boil. King Henry the Eighth suffered from a dusey on his thigh and had it lanced frequently. so don't think you're so special. Just get to a doctor who can look at it and treat it appropriately before it takes over your ars!

Pilonidal sinus: See a DR, preferably a surgeon. You need surgery. When the inflamed tissue is removed or drained you will be relieved.
