A 33-year-old female asked:
In the last 3 months i got 4 boils in different places. 2 on buttocks, 1 outer thigh, 1 under arm. should i be worried? stress levels were highest in a year in these months, could that be the reason? how do i stop recurrence?

Immunity/hygiene: You may be right that stress is contributing to changes in habits and also lowers immunity. Are you overweight? that too may contribute to lowered immunity including that of the skin. The way to reduce chances of recurrence is to probably in addition to good personal hygiene to use antiseptic soap that may cut down bacterial load on the skin. Improved nutrition and rest also boost immunity.
