If you were pregnant could your period be three weeks long?

Long period and preg: if you are having heavy bleeding and it was on time, pregnancy is less likely, but a pregnancy test should be done. You should follow up with your gyn pregnant or not as a three week period is not normal and places you at risk for anemia.

Unlikely: It is not likely that you would have a 3 week period with a normal pregnancy. If in doubt, check a pregnancy test and repeat it in 3-5 days if it is negative. If it is still negative you need to see your PCP or OB/GYN to look into the cause of the prolonged bleeding. Hope this helps.
