Newborn hearing scrn: What was your baby's newborn hearing screen? Does he seem to hear? Does he respond to sounds without seeing you? I am not really clear what you are asking in this question, but I've tried to give you some important ways to assess babies hearing. We would not at all expect an 8 month old baby to respond specifically to his name per se.
