Medical care: I don't know what risk factors you might have for an underlying cause, but,regardless, a cough that lasts a month or more requires evaluation. The metallic taste might be an associated symptom, especially if you have infection in your sinuses or bronchial passages. As to the bruise behind your knee, only further evaluation will reveal what's causing it.
