My daughter is 16 yo. if it turns out she does have hypothyroidism, would the medication they use for that make her grow taller? happy at her height

Possibly: If your daughters growth plates are still open, she has the ability to grow taller. However, most females by age 16 have closed growth plates and cannot grow taller. An x-ray of her long bones would help. Hypothyroidism left untreated can stunt growth, but is easy to correct with thyroid hormone.
