No: It does not. But its side effect of increased appetite can indirectly lead to increased blood sugars. This and Remeron (mirtazapine) have probably the strongest antihistamine effects that cause drowsiness and over eating. Take care.

Discuss concerns: There are online patient forums that complain of this but even they seem more likely in females. There are no doctor reports of this but still 2 yrs is a good time to consider a medically guided w/drawal to reevaluate your need and best treatment - adding CBT therapy can help stop, reduce or change medication or optimize it's EFX. Talk to your Dr - don't change on your own!
