Hard to say?: Without more history and seeing it have no idea either? Onset? Is it itchy? Does he have associated symptoms like fever or other illness? Recent cold? Past history of eczema or other rashes? Contacts with particular rashes that you know of? We might take a stab at it in a Prime visit to give you more clarity.
