Likely Normal: mirena (levonorgestrel) tends to cause irregular bleeding initially after placement which then usually resolves over a few months. If you are having increased pain or fever, it could be due to infection however and if you are concerned, you should contact your doctor. Congrats on choosing an excellent method of contraception!
