I am experiencing diarrhea with orange/oily discharge from the rectum and i have nausea as well. what could be the reason for this?

Nausea, diarrhea: Could be gallbladder, gallstones blockage but you would have pain. Usually oily discharge means there is malabsorption, do you have cystic fibrosis? Do you drink lots of alcohol? may also be gastroenteritis(ifnfection) or gastritis. if does not resolve in 24-72 hours or gets worse with pain, vomiting, inability to hold fluids down see doctor/urgent care.

Keriorrhea: Oily orange rectal discharge and diarrhea due to consumption of indigestible wax esters found in oil fish and escolar. Oil fish(a species of snake mackerel) is often mislabeled and sold as Butterfish, Codfish and Tuna. Escolar(snake mackerel). Consumption causes explosive oily diarrhea. **Sushi restaurants often mislabel escolar as "white tuna".> If so Report this to heath authorities.
