Does intercourse affect ic?

IC: Hi. Exact cause of IC is not certain. IC is an internal bladder wall inflammatory disorder. Irritants are from the interior side of the bladder. Intercourse can be uncomfortable when IC is active. But intercourse does not promote or aggravate any root cause or mechanism of the IC process.
