Finger trauma: Start with a cold compress. Crushed ice in a plastic bag, wrapped in a towel (never put ice directly on skin). Apply 10 minutes, off 10 minutes, repeat. See a medical professional to have finger checked. Could be broken, might just be bruised. Can't tell without checking.
