3-4 days: 3-4 days. Also depends how much damage to liver or other organs occured due to toxic effects of oxycontin.

Oxycontin coma: If the only issue is the overdose then as blood levels decline one is expected to come out of coma. This may not happen if there has been any head injury , aspiration or any other organ damage. The time frame varies depending on the patients metabolic rate and excretory function.
