Osteopaths: Osteopathic physicians are thoroughly trained physicians equivalent to m.D's who have an emphasis in their training on spinal and joint manipulation of the type practiced by chiropractors. Chiros depend upon an obsolete and thoroughly discredited theory of disease causation and offer a deep massage but no diagnosis or cure. An osteopath will give you a complete treatment and is preferred.
