Takes time...: Once Implanon is removed, the hormones are out of your system within a week. However, once you are having periods monthly again, it still can take time to get pregnant. The chance of getting pregnant in any given month is only 20-25% (not 100%!). I you aren't having regular periods, you might want to see your doc and find out why. Best wishes!

Game plan: Length of your cycle: Day 1 is when there are first signs of coming on a period, count the days until the next period starts. The number of days of bleeding does not matter. Normal cycles are 25 - 32 days. You ovulate between 32 - 14 = 18 and 25 - 14 = 11. Sperm survives for 4+ days. Since you won't know how long your ongoing cycle will be, have sex on days 7, 9, 11, 13.
