See below: You may wish to redo the test in 4-5 days, use first morning urine. Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. Blood pregnancy test: The pregnancy tests are probably correct; however, a blood test is the gold standard for determining your pregnancy status. In more rare situations, such as an ectopic pregnancy, the urine test can miss the pregnancy. Most likely you had an anovulatory month. It happens once in awhile. Get evaluated if you have abdominal pain or it lingers longer than one month. Best Wishes!
