Use cautiously: Nicotine & alcohol (etoh) are liver enzyme inducers. This means they help the body get rid of many medications faster than normal (reducing their effectiveness). Nicotine energizes while etoh is disinhibiting – a bad combination! both etoh & nicotine are teratogenic. Both can be poisonous to the body (nicotine is a primary ingredient in some insecticides). What would a prudent person do?
