Okay: It's okay but it's better to use only one medication at a time, not both at the same time. What works for you is what you will use. Taking 2 medications at the same for the same condition is not a good idea.

Yes, But: It's OK for a short while - if symptoms get worse or persist for over 7-10 days, you may have something more than a cold or the flu. If those happen, see you physician to have it checked out.
