URI/Cold: It sounds like your fiance is likely dealing with a cold/upper respiratory infection. In most cases, these are viral. She should try Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen for the pain and chills/fever (if she is allowed to take). If she gets a fever or new symptoms, then consider seeing a doctor to be sure it is not bacterial. Most viruses get better in 5-7 days. Best wishes.
