Blood pressure: Historically, high blood pressure was called the silent killer because it has no symptoms. If you are also having symptoms like dizziness, you need to be seen immediately. By itself, bp 155/111 is not likely to cause a stroke, but other factors combined with such high bp may cause stroke.
