Tooth infection on antibiotics now headache and slight fever has it spread to brain?

Tension headache: The antibiotics prevent the spread of the infection and it takes 24-48 hrs for it to be fully effective so a slight fever is common. The headache is probably from tension of your head muscles especially if the toothache is making you clench or shifting your jaw to avoid contact with infected tooth.

Doubtful: Just because you have a headache does not mean you have an infection in your brain. The sooner your dentist treats that tooth the less chance you have of the infection spreading.

See a dentist ASAP: A tooth abscess won't go away without treatment and the infection may spread to your jaw, cheeks, sinus and to other areas of your head and neck. Dentist will treat a tooth abscess by treating the cause and getting rid of the infection. See your dentist ASAP.
