Multiple causes: this could be viral gastroenteritis, diverticulitis, or appendicitis. I would monitor temperature, have clear liquids, and see how symptoms progress. If worsening pain, I would see a MD for evaluation. On the weekend, an urgent care may be available although you may need to be seen in an emergency room.

Diarrhea with pain: Infectious diarrhea and other form of colitis can cause pain discomfort. If continued diarrhea or fevers or pain seek medical attention.
