Iliohypogastric n?: Something may be irritating the ilioinguinal, iliohypogastric, or genitofemoral nerve (an MD exam will tell). X-rays do not, in general, show spinal cord compression-only if there has been trauma. Even nerve compression "seen" on X-ray or CT/MRI is over-diagnosed & often isn't the problem (surgery for impinged nerves causes more pain than it cures). Ur best bet is rehab therapy & bk exercises TTYD
