Painful lump eval: It is not likely that the painful lump is related to acid reflux. Any lump on the chest and/or breast should be evaluated by a physician. Painful lumps are more likely related to infection than to tumors. In any event a physical examination is required

Need more info: Unable to decide what you are describing by the term knot. If your problem persists or gets worse you will need to have a physician examine the area to get an accurate diagnosis. Sorry we couldn't help you.
