I've been on percocet 10mg x4/day for 7 yrs & want to switch to non-narc meds. how long should it take my body to wean/adjust to life w/o opiates? ty!

Percocet: This varies as everyone is different. I would do a slow weaning (every3 weeks), first decrease the strength but not the frequency. When you are on the lowest strength then cut down the frequency. 7 years of a short acting medication only is not appropriate.
