Back/lung pain: Back strain should not affect your lungs----if you are short of breath it is different problem and your back pain could be referred pain-----this would need to be addressed soon because it could be serious---but if your lung problem is splinting from an intercostal nerve entrapment or thoracic nerve impingment this can treated with NSAIDS -like ibupropen see your Doctor for a full work up soon
