AS: AS can be complicated by osteoporosis, hip involvement, iritis (inflamed eye), with extremely rare restrictive lung disease, and aortic insufficiency (leaky heart valve). Amyloidosis, stroke, blood dyscrasia - if present is not a prominent risk.
