I had two shots of rocephin (ceftriaxone) above each of my hips near my buttocks. i still have two painful not red lumps deeply embedded. what can i do to heal it?

Inflamation: It should disappear on it,s own but applying heat may help it go away faster

Rocephin (ceftriaxone): This antibiotic is given by deep intramuscular injection or IV. When given by injection it goes in the deep muscles usually of the buttocks. There it may cause localized bleeding of the muscle causing the lumps you feel. These are usually absorbed by the body. Sometimes they calcify, most likely on patients who have had multiple shots in the buttock. There is really nothing to do but time.
