Palpitations: Propranolol is a nonselective beta blocker blocks β1- and β2-adrenergic receptors. The half-life is approx 5-7 hrs. Propranolol blocks b1 receptors which when stimulated accelerate your heart rate. so yes it should help with palpitations.
