Had body aches for about 12 hours with stinging cough. the aches are over and the cough is still present. no fever, what could this be?

Cough+Myalgias: It is peak influenza season in the US at this time, but it is usually associated with fever. Myalgias and cough are often caused by various viruses. Fluids, rest, ibuprofen or naproxen if not allergic, Delsym (dextromethorphan) or herbal tea with honey until able to see your physician may help. Mycoplasma pneumoniae can cause myalgias and cough as "walking pneumonia". In this case, antibiotics might be helpful.
